HOMEOPATHY FOR SELF CARE
Our lives are so busy. We have so many demands on our time.
Where is the time to address our own needs?
Are you feeling like you have less energy?
Getting colds or flu too regularly?
Irregular or painful periods and PMS?
Menopausal or peri-menopausal symptoms?
Find yourself feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, worried or down?
Gaining too many pounds?
Any of the above can be our body’s way of letting us know our needs aren’t being fully met. Our health reflects on the outside how things really are on the inside.
Homeopathy can offer support on all levels of mind and body, working with you to put you back at the centre of your life, bringing about a happier balance and well being for the long term.
Recent review from my Facebook Page July 2018
“I have been having Homeopathy with Rebecca now for some time. Originally for a congestive issue which I’d had off and on for months but was cleared up really quickly with the homeopathic remedy she gave me – and now as we are in hay fever season I have once again been using Homeopathy. It has been amazing to see how each remedy has worked differently, feeling emotions shift and physical ailments ease. With my hay fever I was taking Antihistamines like smarties, one ever 4 hours. Once I started taking the remedy I was down to just 1 Antihistamine a day, it was fantastic!
I have found her ability to quickly assess and find a remedy that suits to help you heal, really wonderful. Would recommend Rebecca to anyone!”

Homeopathy was discovered and developed by Samuel Hahnemann, a German doctor over 200 years ago, and it is now used by around a billion people in countries around the world.
Homeopathic remedies are made from natural sources such as plants and minerals, there are no side effects and can be used by people of all ages, including pregnant women to support their well-being.
The remedies are made at specialist homeopathic pharmacies under clinical conditions. Homeopathy can be used alongside conventional medical treatment as long as professionally prescribed and I regularly work in partnership with other practitioners.
A practitioner of homeopathy is called a Homeopath, the training is usually over 4 years and is extensive covering all aspects of the therapy as well as anatomy, physiology, disease and pathology. Homeopaths can not practice alone until they have completed over 200 hours of supervised practice and once registered are expected to complete continuous professional development to deepen their knowledge and experience.
In a consultation I will give you my full attention and experience, in a relaxed conversation lasting around one hour, either in person or via skype. Follow ups occur around 3-6 weeks later as long as we agree you need my support for. I also love working with children’s well being who express themselves best through play and art in my consultations.
I’m Rebecca Dove, Shrewsbury based Homeopath for the last twelve years. I first came to Shrewsbury with my family aged 14, growing up here and then I left for ten years in Wales for University and work. Wales is where I discovered homeopathy and that it worked for me for some serious hormonal issues and I’ve been using it ever since. I came back to Shrewsbury whilst I was still studying in 2003 and have based my practice here ever since. I love the way Shrewsbury is such a vibrant town full of unique history and people.
I have been blessed to become a mum for the first time naturally aged 43 in 2018, which is the most extraordinary journey I could possibly imagine, and homeopathy has helped me at every stage. It’s made me especially passionate about supporting women and their families through my practice.
I’m also the proud owner of two great ex-rescue cats, Alfie & Bertie who basically rule the household. I spend lots of time out on the River Severn, which hugs our lovely town, with my partner’s canoeing business. I love nothing more than getting out with my son in the Shropshire sunshine either in the town park or the incredible countryside in Shropshire and over the border in Mid Wales.
I loved every moment of my training at the wonderful Welsh School of Homeopathy in Carmarthen, and have been practicing supporting individuals and families in Shrewsbury since qualifying in 2007.
I’ve returned to do three sets of post graduate training there as well as keeping up to date with regular supervision and continuing professional development updating myself with new techniques and remedies, most recently completing study into the Sensation Method, which I am integrating into my practice and allows us to work together at a deep level.
I have recently returned to practice after maternity, part time in a new room, close to my home in Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury. I have a limited face to face availability in the short term, appointments only available on Friday mornings, but still provide support via email and phone (9am – 10am).
This is vital to make sure I can offer real support and advice to all my patients. I really recommend that you do book a free 30 minute discovery call with me, so you can take the time to get to know me and be sure I am the right person for you and your family to work with. I am fully registered and insured through the Society of Homeopaths and follow their code of ethics for practice.
