About me

I’m Rebecca Dove, Shrewsbury based Homeopath for the last twelve years. I first came to Shrewsbury with my family aged 14, growing up here and then I left for ten years in Wales for University and work.  Wales is where I discovered homeopathy and that it worked for me for some serious hormonal issues and I’ve been using it ever since. I came back to Shrewsbury whilst I was still studying in 2003 and have based my practice here ever since.  I love the way Shrewsbury is such a vibrant town full of unique history and people.

I have been blessed to become a mum for the first time naturally aged 43 in 2018, which is the most extraordinary journey I could possibly imagine, and homeopathy has helped me at every stage.  It’s made me especially passionate about supporting women and their families through my practice.

I’m also the proud owner of two great ex-rescue cats, Alfie & Bertie who basically rule the household. I spend lots of time out on the River Severn, which hugs our lovely town, with my partner’s canoeing business. I love nothing more than getting out with my son in the Shropshire sunshine either in the town park or the incredible countryside in Shropshire and over the border in Mid Wales.

I loved every moment of my training at the wonderful Welsh School of Homeopathy in Carmarthen, and have been practicing supporting individuals and families in Shrewsbury since qualifying in 2007.

I’ve returned to do three sets of post graduate training there as well as keeping up to date with regular supervision and continuing professional development updating myself with new techniques and remedies, most recently completing study into the Sensation Method, which I am integrating into my practice and allows us to work together at a deep level.

I have recently returned to practice after maternity, part time in a new room, close to my home in Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury.  I have a limited face to face availability in the short term, appointments only available on Friday mornings, but still provide support via email and phone (9am – 10am).

This is vital to make sure I can offer real support and advice to all my patients.  I really recommend that you do book a free 30 minute discovery call with me, so you can take the time to get to know me and be sure I am the right person for you and your family to work with.  I am fully registered and insured through the Society of Homeopaths and follow their code of ethics for practice.
